There are thousands of carpets, vinyls, and flooring options to choose from when you work with us. Smart & Tidy Carpets & Flooring is passionate about quality, and we strive to offer the very best at all times. Based in Rochford, Essex, our mobile showroom allows us to provide our products to a wider audience. We became a mobile service more than two decades ago, and this was to allow more people to experience our excellent customer service. Our business is run by expert professionals, and this ensures that you receive the best flooring every time.
As well as vinyl and carpets, we also stock LVT - Luxury Vinyl Tiles. This material is made up of individually laid planks or squares, and this comes in wood effect, marble, and many other designs. It’s a high-quality material, and the flooring is suitable for domestic and commercial flooring. We also supply stair runners, and these are made to order.
To ensure that you’re happy with the flooring you receive, make an appointment with us to come and visit you to discuss measurements, cuttings, samples, and paperwork. We are then able to get the job done as soon as possible. Once we have measured up the size of your home, done a cutting plan of your rooms, and decided on colours, our team is able to make sure that we have the right materials to suit you. Floor screeding is also undertaken if necessary.
During the appointment, we discuss the colours and materials best for your new carpet or flooring. When it comes to your home, we always strive to find the most suitable products. A wide range of patterns are available and you’re able to look at the various samples that we carry. We don’t usually discuss prices on the phone, as the cost differs depending on your requirements.
As we are measuring up, you’ll receive a price guideline. This is so you are aware of the costs from the beginning. When you’re happy with the price, we ask for a small deposit with the order. Additionally, costs slightly increase when you need underlay as well as a new carpet.
In most cases, the underlay that you have is as old as the carpet. This is why it is generally best to replace the two together. The focus is always on the thickness, softness, and durability of the underlay. When you choose thicker underlay, it is slightly more expensive due to the added benefits to your home. Some carpets are able to have underlay sewn in the back.
